Be careful and know in which cases you will not be able to count on the warranty service of the purchased furniture.

Firstly, this is the end of the period for which manufacturers and sellers guaranteed service.

Secondly, this is a violation of the conditions for the operation of furniture.

Thirdly, if the furniture was damaged by the consumer due to his mistake or deliberate action. Also, the warranty does not apply to products damaged by the consumer due to improper transformation or design changes. You will be denied service under warranty if the furniture is mechanically damaged.

Fourth, you should not count on reimbursement if the products have suffered from insurmountable circumstances, such as fire, disaster or accident.

Fifth, if the damage was caused by animals or liquids and foreign objects got into the furniture, causing damage, compensation is also not expected. If it is noticeable on the product that it was repaired by those who are not authorized to do this (everyone except the manufacturer), then the warranty is also terminated.

Furniture products for the home cannot be used for industrial purposes, so if damaged in such cases, no one will compensate you for the repair. Assembly of furniture is not considered a service, if it is done incorrectly, this will not be the responsibility of the manufacturer. Also, you do not need to count on free repairs if you have exceeded the permissible operational load on the furniture or added non-standard elements to it.

In addition, the manufacturer is not responsible if the consumer does not regularly tighten the threaded connections, as a result, defects appear on the furniture. Also, factories do not accept claims that furniture has become dirty during operation.

You also need to know that defects on furniture products do not include:

  • slight difference in upholstery shades (fabric and leather), as well as paintwork;
  • small abrasions on the leather cover and the so-called «hairy» cracks;
  • small creases on soft furnishings that disappear when smoothed by hand;
  • Extraneous sounds during transformation or load on the spring block.

Also note that the factory has the right to modify its products without notifying the consumer.
